[Spoilers, maybe?]

Ok, a thought hit me last night. In both books The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned, Lestat and Akasha both feed off of eachother, a sort of bonded, simultanious thing. So I figured, hey, why not others?

Lestat and Louis' relationship is a complicated one, for they are so very different. But in the back of my mind I ultimately see them as lovers, and they in a sense actually are. So here you have it. Lestat in his snarky, " Well-wasn't-that-fun, Louis?" attitude, and Louis has his Oh-so-angsty-regretful-but-I-love-you thing going on.

Actually this reminds me of a scene in Merrick. :o Where Louis is offered to drink from Lestat ( I hope that wasn't way spoilerish). Of course when they were living in the Rue Royal in New Orleans Louis refused to drink from Lestat because he didn't want to become any more vampiric (which Lestat's blood was bound to make him).

Yeah anyways I'm rambling. I love this pic! Don't get me wrong! It just reminded me more of Merrick than IWtV is all :shrug: (guess because I'm a total Anne Rice nerd, :giggle:)

I'm going to :+fav: this one because I do absolutely love the coloring, and the way you drew them is perfect! Louis being my fav character... I love the angsty look, and Lestat's expression is so fitting! :D Great job!
